PROCESS
This assignment was centered around recreating covers for books that had an impact on my life when I was young. The two books I shared were Holes by Louis Sachar and a Goosebumps book called “Monster Blood”’ by R.L. Stein. I was amped about this assignment. I remember how wild my imagination would be reading books and how it continues. The idea that a kid could be influenced by a cover I created could influence them to get into art and continue reading. Early on in the thumbnail stage, I was so set on recreating what was already there but then I relied on showcasing easter eggs to highlight important aspects of the book.
